The new Umberto 12" that a couple of people mentioned on here is now available to purchase... |
Sounds very nice. Great atmosphere, seems to be a must purchase!
Bohren & der Club of Gore - Dolores (finally!) |

I try my hardest to keep up with Locrian as I've enjoyed all the stuff they've put out and, in my opinion, this is one my favourite records they've put out. It definitely has a more "black metal" feel with drums, beats and screaming then compared to the straight up noise on Territories. But it's nice and varied throughout and as I said, really quite good. |

By the way: What's the point in releasing an album on two separate vinyl editions, so you can spend 30 pounds, instead of 15-16 Pounds for a regular 2LP Album? (I'm talking about the Cut Hands release) |
Yeah, I find that an odd one too. The 'limited edition' (expensive) version is in a run of 200 copies, whilst the 'standard' edition in a run of only 100. So the standard one is really the 'limited' one!! Pretty strange. Definitely interested in hearing it though! |

New Umberto is pretty damn good. Creepy sleeve, though. Anybody order the Sleep Over LP from "Fact label of the year" Hippos In Tanks? I ordered it in September, inquired after a month and got a response saying it should be with me shortly. No LP, no more responses to emails since. Maybe I should start a thread about records ordered that were never received... or at least a list of labels to only order from distros... |

Did some massive ordering this first week of the year...already spending too much right now...what a starter :p |
Is that cut hands release good? I heard snippets and it sounded incredibly boring. Maybe I need anothier listen |
Oh and for purchases Demdike Stare - Elemental ( on first listen this was very dissapointing as I loved their other releases) Porter Ricks - Amazing! People under the stairs - Highlighter A slew of 90s death metal LPS on Earache |

@mmc: Which Earache albums did you go for? - Purchased the first Deicide lp the other day (not on Earache, mind) and was surprised how tame this sounds today. |
I bought the following: Morbid Angel - Alters of Madness Bolt Thrower - The IV Crusade Terrorizer - World Downfall Entombed - Clandenstine Napalm Death - Harmony Corruptopn (Their new song sounds amazing!) Bathory - Under the sign of the black mark (not earache) |

@Emmagator: Yeah, I dig it. It had passed me by for years because I wasn't too keen on their previous one, 'Time is a Good Thing', but I finally gave it a shot when it popped up in the ANOST sale. I'm glad I did - it's really good! |
