Now that we're almost at the halfway point in the year, what releases are you looking forward to? Tons of records always come out in the fall. I'm looking forward to the new Radian LP (being mixed now I'm told). What else is on the horizon?

I know it's a bit mainstream, but I'm looking forward to the new Flaming Lips album, as it's apparently a double cd, going to be "less focused" than Mystics, it's influenced by Miles Davis and John Lennon, and has a "freak out vibe". And it's meant to be called Embryonic!

You think that's mainstream? I'm most excited about the new Jay-Z album 'The Blueprint 3'...also the new Clipse album.

Gotta say the prospect of a new Radian album has me excited though, the last one was quality.

I have absolutely no clue what is coming up...I am just looking forward to the packages I have in order right now, I guess.

The new Natural Snow Buildings album on Blackest Rainbow. Tripple vinyl. Should be nice I guess.

also looking forward to the new blues control LP.  well, i've heard the CD and it's amazing, but i'm excited about the vinyl.

@Larry: it will be 300 I think and 500 on double cd but I am not sure. But hope it is less limited as all their other stuff.

After seeing them in Chicago, I'm real excited about the new Zelienople LP. And a new Jim O'Rourke LP would be amazing!

i'm excited to check out this new on album as well...though i haven't seen the vinyl released on forced exposure yet. pondering just ordering it up from boomkat.

Awesome news on the Jim O'Rourke album.

gotta say i much prefer his 'excursions into avant-electronics' than his song based stuff, but that's just me...will probs check it anyways.
