Luckily for all you grumpy centenarians out there, I just heard Van Halen is getting back together to tour. Remember those guys? Awesome, amiright?!

I am often found eschewing current releases/artists for my trusty Weather Report, Soft Machine and Todd Rundgren records.  Back when they had some sense!

I wasn't thinking of Van Halen or Proggy Stuff. However I also like Todd Rundgren...

I mentioned Parmentier in the listening thread already. When it comes to drone records, it is cool to see Thomas Köner being re-issued.

Main was mentioned in the "what would you like to see re-issued on vinyl", too.

When I discovered them (via checking out the bio of Rosy Parlane) last year it blew me away.

What else, first two bowery electric records on kranky (early labradford, too). I also had a phase of revisting earlier Stephan Mathieu, older Mokira stuff. "early laptop electronics"?...
