I know there are a few Mimaroglu customers here and i was wondering if anyone knew why suddenly the entire Creel Pone catalog has been pulled from the site? There were quite a few still there. Can't imagine they all sold out so fast...

Didn't notice this... I can ask Keith or Geoff next time I'm over there though. They may have been deleted, I guess?

The orkstorm website is gone as well. Maybe you're right and they just decided to call it a day. Bummer, I still had a lot I wanted to get.

There's a little piece about Creel Pone in the new issue of Wire, Keith mentioned something about knocking it on the head so that may have something to do with it?

I found this forum via google because I wanted to know the story on creel pone going away. I was about to make another pone order from Mimaroglu but was sad to find it all gone. I have about a 1/3 of the releases and was hoping someday to complete it.

Hopefully someone gets some info.

Keith's on tour at the moment so I can't check for a while, but I'll update this thread when I find out any more info.

what's Creel Pone?

it is/was a series of rereleases (not entirely legal) of obscure electronic music from the 50's, 60 and 70's. Seems to be some amazing stuff among it, but don't know really.
