So I started a label... calling fans of Morton Feldman

After years of putting more money down on CDs and vinyl than I care to dwell on, finally came across a recording that NEEDED to see release and did something about it.

Does anyone else here like Morton Feldman? I don't want this to read like spam, but I was surprised interested to see Mark Hollis mentioned here in reverend tones. I can't imagine anyone who loves his solo album wanting to miss Feldman's later work.

Anyway, http://www.frozenreeds.com - Crippled Symmetry: at June in Buffalo, performed by The Feldman Soloists, will be out later in the year.

Hi - the recording is from 2000, the 25th anniversary year of JIB. The musicians were close colleagues and collaborators with Feldman (who curated the festival for a number of years).

I'm in Finland, as it goes, but a small world indeed. =)
