so... i'd be surprised if no one else here is visiting this year's incubate festival? this is happening mid-september, throughout different venues in the city center of tilburg - and the tickets are dirt cheap.

the lineup is looking really good thusfar, with ao: richard youngs, the ex, zola jesus, lucky dragons, ducktails, liturgy, final, cheapmachines, six organs, af ursin and about 200 others

i'm playing there on saturday, as circle bros (an to top off the morc-promo: puddle parade plays on friday, and edgar wappenhalter on saturday) - and i'm crossing my fingers that i'm not scheduled on the same moment as richard youngs :-S

(ps: yes, that's annelies monseré and jessica bailiff you can hear at the beginning of the trailer. they're not playing this year though - they did last year)

Wim, if they do not program you double with Richard Youngs I will be there to come and see you live.
If they do program you double I will kick everyone in the organization :p

And indeed, everyone who is remotely close (that's within a radius of approx. 1000km) should come. It is the best festival I have ever been to and from what I have heard the best Festival in the whole of Europe... 

Unfortunately i couldn't make it this year, incubate is a real recommendation for anyone not too far out from Tilburg. I'll never forget the 2007 performance of Jacob Kirkegaard, and sietse, you were nice as well ;). Must admit though i liked previous years programming a bit more than this years. The mix of different genres and the general atmosphere (tons of locations not too far apart, nice people) are really special. Hopefully next year, with a bit more ambient / electronic etc performances. Best, Roel

yeah, was a good year the time I played (even released a similar set as 3").
This year line-up had Richard Youngs so I had nothing to complain...

But next year it will be amazing (if all goes well...)    ;) 

it was quite an event.... count me in for next year as well.
