"Hypersona" is the debut album by 36, originally released in January 2009 on CD via 3six Recordings. Fast foward to 2012 and a special vinyl edition is now available. This package includes all the original tracks, meticulously remastered by Calyx, cut specifically for vinyl and lovingly pressed onto wax by one of the greatest vinyl manufacturers in the world: Pallas, Germany. No expense has been spared at all stages of production to make this look and sound as good as it can be. 

The record is available in three colours: White, Clear and Black. 100 copies of each colour are available. The sleeve has been matt-laminated to the highest standard and all records will be sent in a well-packaged mailer. Word of advice though, you might want to use a second stiffener in the packaging.  The Post Office had been playing frisbee with my package again!

Hi Larry. The reason I don't use a second stiffener is because I had noticed a lot of (spined) sleeves get crushed with two them, especially since I take the vinyl out of the sleeve to protect them. This has the downside of risking warped vinyl though... you can't win!

Is your sleeve or vinyl damaged?

Minor crease on sleeve.  Vinyl looks ok, so nothing to worry about.

OK. I do keep some spare sleeves in case problems occur, so if you do feel like you need a replacement, do let me know.

Nah, it's minor compared with the state some records come in.  Juno records being the worst.  If they didn't get the odd import you can't get elsewhere in the UK, I'd never use them.  Boomkat used to be pretty flimsy, though I complained and they seem to be a bit better.  Can't beat Norman Recs for sturdy packing, which is why I asked whether this would be in there.

Looks like there will be some stock in Norman afterall...
