i did have a thread, but i tried inserting a music player and somehow ended up in crazy mess whereby i had to delete the entire topic instead of edit my post?

anyway, news is that cylon's release "cycle" will be out soon. it should appeal to you folks round here, i think there is a slight rameses iii vibe there myself.. it is a 2 track 3" cdr - if you want to hear some then the entire 6minute opening track is currently up on fluid radio and a 4-5 min sample of the quarter hour long second track is on the soundcloud player that is hopefully embedded below:

i haven't posted about the label on here in many months but it is still ticking along and you may have forgotten to keep an eye on it. i dont blame you for your oversight, my marketing is non-existent. the label seems to be shifting very much into ambient/drones now, as demonstrated by the Danny Clay release linked above and the forthcoming eps and singles by Jannick Schou (dead pilot/under the spire/heat death), Ex confusion (u-cover), Zvuku (rural colours), and the much delayed opus by Evo Luthi  w\ Monolyth and Cobalt (american typewriter & kesh respectively) to name a few.

some pictures and a short review of the danny clay cd, i like the opening passage personally:

"If you locked Harold Budd and The Caretaker in a haunted studio overnight, you might in the morning, if you were very lucky, have something like Danny Clay's I am a poor wayfaring stranger."

March will see several eps - particularly keep an eye out for those if you are a fan of rural colours because they are all from artists who i share with Jonathan's far more professional endeavour. 

err, new things have happened in the last 6 months obviously. all the tracks update themselves up in the first post even if the text is out of date so that has all you need to know in there.

things that are yet to come out:

dictionary of ghosts & dark class (3" CDr) - this is shipping soon, its 20odd minutes of pale blue sky type drones from 2 musicians whose names are in the title. dictionary of ghosts may be known to some of you as mrcluck, who released the excellent birdbone altar to download last year.

then following at some point are the forever delayed evo luthi with monolyth and cobalt CDr, a marta mist 3" CDr, an ep of cello and field recordings by pleq under his real name of bartosz dziadosz, and finally to mark release #25 there will be a brand new d_rradio full length in a limited run of 200 coloured vinyl. thats a bit off though, as i dont expect the test presses until the end of the month.

d_rradio LP is up for pre-order. barring something terrible happening to the postal service i would expect these to be landing in people's homes towards the end of October.

merry christmas all, i've got a new release up to order soon. 5 3" CDrs in a boxset, but I'm not saying who they are by as yet. Just listen to the samples and forget about names.
