Regolith - Nuées Ardentes

"Regolith formed in 2005 to make music on a geological scale...that's how our band biography starts, and in the case of Nuees Ardentes this is precisely what you get.  
This was made in the early part of our career - in fact the concept for the track was one of the first we had...although we didn't complete it until later on...and it languished unloved for a few years until Myuzyk chanced upon it and was charmed by it.
Those of you used to our more recently recorded output might be surprised by some of the sounds here - there is delicacy and light, but also brutal electronic primitivism and darkness.  There is probably more than one surprise in store for our more attentive fans! Nuees Ardentes literally means  "Glowing Cloud"  - and volcanic, blistering, iridescent sounds permeate the track as it veers from almost field recording-like ambient textures to howling tribal blowouts."
