Husband and Wife duo John Chantler (Room 40) and Carina Thoren bring together a lovely mix of free jazz, drone/minimalism, ea/improv and a little suite of distended song. Together they go under the moniker 'For Barry Ray' and they have a new album due on Room 40 very soon indeed. It's awesome so you should really buy it!

Helios : Keith Kenniff - Jazz, or something like it

Keith Kenniff of Helios and Goldmund fame returns with another of his 'influences' mixes. This time it's an eclectic collection of tracks bringing together a whole spectrum of Jazz and Jazz-influenced music.
